Alert/ alarm content

Possible reasons

The burner did not light up (start) and the error “Start Failed" appeared on the display
- No fuel in the hopper - refuel and fill the feed pipe in manual mode,
- Check the operation of the lighter in manual mode.  In the event of the lighter failure, contact the service centre,
- Check the burner grate for ash contamination. If necessary, clean the grate manually and increase the cleaning frequency in the installer menu,
- Check the operation of the external feeder in manual mode.  If the feeder is operating but does not supply the desired amount of fuel, clean the hopper inside and the feed pipe,
- Check whether the end of the lighter is visible in the so called “window”. Using low-quality wood pellets can seal the lighter,
- Clean the photocell (gently with a dry cloth)

The controller displays the alarm ''Feeder Temperature Too High''

- Check flow of the chimney draft and chimney intake pipe,
- Check carefully the chambers, heat exchanger and chimney flue - accumulation of ash and soot can cause interference in the chimney draft
- Check whether there is excessive ash accumulated on the burner grate. If necessary, clean the grate manually and increase the cleaning frequency,

The blower and external feeder do not operate,

- It’s likely that the bimetallic thermometer was activated.  Wait about 60 minutes, if the fault persists, contact the service,

The burner did not ignite despite the demand for hot water or the demand from the room controller

- The Weekly Control function is active,
- The burner was extinguished manually by the user,

The central heating pump does not start despite reaching the activation temperature

- The controller operates in the Summer Mode - change the Operation Mode for Parallel Pumps or Home Heating,
- The room central heating pump function is active,

The hot water pump does not start despite reaching the activation temperature

- The controller operates in the Home Heating Mode - change the Operation Mode for Parallel Pumps or Boiler Priority,
- Current hot water temperature is higher than furnace temperature,
- Hot Water Operating Mode is active,

The controller does not operate

- Replace the fuse in the control unit (the white box from which all the cables come out)

The burner is smoky, soot deposits on the furnace walls

Not enough oxygen or too much fuel:
- decrease the amount of fuel or increase the amount of oxygen
- check the holes draft in the grate and the furnace plate, if no draft occurs, use a wire of at least 4mm in diameter

A large amount of slag is formed

Poor quality fuel:
- it is recommended to replace the fuel
Lighter failure
The burnt heater does not necessarily mean that we are doomed to cold at home. The following instruction manual describes how to light the burner despite its failure.  This process does not require special skills, just a little dexterity and patience.
After diagnosing the burnt heater, press ''Firing up'' and observe the burner operation stage. This process will start with a blow-out which lasts, depending on the settings, about 60 seconds, then preliminary feed is performed, i.e. the external and internal feeders are activated in parallel, yet the internal one operates a few seconds longer. While observing the operation of the burner, avoid opening the furnace door. After the initial filling-in of the hopper, the lighter icon will be displayed and at this moment kindling should be placed on wood pellets.  The burner should be in operation mode. It should be remembered that once the set parameters have been reached, the burner will be extinguished, so it is recommended to change the settings in such a way that it works continuously until the lighter is replaced.
